Building a Seamless Conversational Support for JSW Paints with a Multilingual Chat Assistant

Problem Area

JSW Paints works with a large and diverse contractor network across many regions and languages in India. The Star Contractor App helps manage this network. The main challenge was to build a smooth, easy way to share important updates, such as product details, live schemes, and reward programs in a quick, conversational format. Since contractors come from different linguistic backgrounds, the communication also needed to feel natural and locally relevant for everyone.

Scope of Work

The goal was to add a helpful, multilingual chat feature to the JSW Paints Star Contractor App. This feature would act like a quick support system, improving how the brand connects with its contractors by sharing the right information in their preferred regional language. It would also handle everyday questions on its own, so contractors wouldn’t have to wait for someone to step in for basic help.

Solution

A multilingual chatbot was developed and added to the Star Contractor App to serve as a friendly assistant. It also uses the contractor’s location to offer more relevant help, such as connecting them with their CRO (Customer Relationship Officer) and showing nearby offers. This tool makes it much easier for contractors to engage with the brand, giving them quick access to product details, running schemes, and reward programs.
