Who We’re Looking For
What You’ll Do
On Set
Own the Camera
- Operate cameras on shoots, handling framing, exposure, focus and movement.
- Work confidently with mirrorless and cinema camera systems.
- Use tripods, gimbals and handheld setups depending on the story and location.
- Know when to keep the shot stable—and when movement adds value.
Light the Scene
- Set up simple interview and product lighting yourself.
- Work with key, fill and background lighting while adapting to the location available.
- Create clean, professional-looking setups even in clinics, hospitals and smaller spaces.
Capture Clean Audio
- Handle lavalier and boom microphones on location.
- Monitor audio during the shoot instead of discovering problems in the edit.
- Ensure dialogue is clean, clear and usable.
Work With People
- Direct and communicate comfortably with doctors, senior clients and other on- camera talent.
- Help subjects feel comfortable and confident on camera.
- Know how to guide someone towards a natural, usable take.
Own the Footage
- Manage data on location.
- Offload and back up cards before leaving the shoot.
- Maintain organised file naming and folder structures so footage is easy to find and edit.
In the Edit
- Edit brand films, interviews, testimonials, social videos and reels.
- Take raw footage and turn it into a clear, engaging story.
- Colour grade footage and mix sound to a professional, broadcast-acceptable standard.
- Repurpose long-form films into short-form vertical content with strong hooks and pacing.
- Work accurately from approved scripts, including medical and legal-approved versions, without changing approved wording.
- Deliver videos in the correct format, resolution, aspect ratio and specifications for each platform.
- Maintain consistency in colour, sound, pacing and visual quality across deliverables.
What You Bring
You’ll bring 3–5 years of professional experience in video production, cinematography, and editing, with hands-on expertise in operating mirrorless or cinema cameras such as Sony FX/A7 series, Canon R series, or BMPCC. You’ll have strong practical knowledge of interview and product lighting, location audio capture, colour grading, sound mixing, and video finishing, along with professional-level proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve. You should be confident managing projects independently from shoot through final edit and have a strong showreel that demonstrates your creative and technical capabilities. Experience with your own professional camera, lighting or audio equipment, DaVinci Resolve colour grading, basic After Effects, drone shooting with a valid licence, clinical or healthcare environments, and stills photography will be an added advantage.
